Jordan's Collection of Recipes - Chicken Bacon Soup
Ingredients
Bacon 2+ stripps
3 Chicken brests and / or 1 Beef small roast
3 Carrots
3 Parsnips
2 Potatoes
3/4 Cup Corn
3/4 Cup Peas
3 Celery
1 Table spoon Montral Chicken Spece
1 tea spoon Salt
1 tea spoon Pepper
3 L broth ( match meat choice or vegitable )
AND OR any other vegitables, spices , meats
Adjust quantaties to taste
Additional ingradiants for serving (if wanted)
1/2 cup Pasta per person OR 1/4 cup Rice per person
Directions
Step 1
Cut Bacon and meat into bite size peices ( 1/2" size )
Step 2
In a Large pot ( maybe your largest) over medium heat add the bacon.
Step 3
Once the Bacon has started to render some fat. Add the Chicken and/or Beef and montral and other spices.
Step 4
Once meat is cooked add 2L of broth to the pot. maintain a gentle boil.
Step 5
While maintaining a gentle boil. Starting with Potatoes, chop Vegitable into similar size bite size peces and add to the pot.
Step 6
Once all vegitable are added, if there is room to add the last 1L of broth add it.
Contiunue the gentle boil for a further 10 minutes.
Step 7
Add Salt and pepper to taste
Step 8
Serve
Optional serving directions for added Pasta or Rice
Step 1
Into a small pot add the amount of soup to be consumed that meal.
Step 2
Bring to a gentel boil
Step 3
Add pasta or rice.
Step 4
Boil until Past or rice is cooked. ( 8 - 12 min)
